A cottage straight out of a fairytale, each room is dreamier than the next. The living room’s chapel-like ceiling is lined with timber beams and a woodburner crackles in the corner. Sleep sound as Sleepy Beauty in a four-poster bed fit for a storybook. A welcome pack of local goodies awaits your arrival in the cute, country-style kitchen, but there are more culinary delights to be explored in the area. Touted as the food capital of Suffolk, the cottage is a few minutes' walk to Lavenham’s tea rooms, an ice cream parlour, and the local museum, along with traditional eateries tucked away on narrow streets. You'd be forgiven for spending most of your time in the spectacular lodgings though as even the walled garden with its twisting vine archway has a magical feel to it. Treat yourself to a trip in a beautiful location, within a beautiful abode.

About Hadleigh
This ancient market town is nestled in Constable Country – a beautiful area of Suffolk that inspired the 18th-century artist’s most famous works. Hadleigh itself is packed full of character, with historic buildings and independent shops aplenty. Sandwiched between Sudbury and Ipswich, it may not be as well-known as its more prominent neighbours, but with its mixed architecture and picturesque valley setting, this quieter area still has lots to offer....
