Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Charleston’s pastel-coloured historic houses are one of the port city’s most distinctive features and they don’t come much prettier than this downtown home. Filled with vintage charm, sugary hues, eclectic artwork and antique touches, it’s both a fun and relaxing space to return to after days spent out sightseeing in South Carolina’s most popular tourist city. Located just a short drive from the centre or twenty minutes on foot, it’s a good setting to experience living life like a local while still being within easy access of the city’s fantastic seafood restaurants, colonial mansions and historic sites, and scenic sandy beaches such as Folly Beach are just a twenty-minute drive away. Back at the house you’ll find all the mod cons you’ll need to settle in and feel right at home during your stay including a TV in each room, plush pillowtop beds, exposed brick fireplaces, a fresh new kitchen and two bikes that you’re free to borrow to get around the city. The outdoor spaces are a bonus too with two private porches that make great spots for lunch in the sun or summer sundowners, and late nights can be spent gathered around the fire pit in the garden...

About The Boroughs

Made of up five different 'boroughs', this neighbourhood north of Downtown is a little calmer and collected than the buzzing heart of Charleston. Predominantly residential, that doesn’t mean it lacks charm, by any means. The streets of The Boroughs are still picture-perfect as the day they were built in the 18th century. Wide boulevards are home to antebellum houses where you’ll still see rocking chairs on porches and hear cicadas...
