This sleek, modern house only needs to decorate its walls with windows, showcasing the great outdoors of Abersoch’s exquisite coastline. Its smart interior, with fabulously open-plan living space, all points towards the natural landscape that lies just outside your door. Inside, oak wood tones, blues, and a natural colour palette keep the sea at the forefront of your mind, without overdoing the seaside theme. A huge, squashy sofa makes for a great place to put your feet up after a country walk, and there's a log burner for cosy evenings in winter. A new kitchen, complete with all the mod-cons, makes cooking at home a pleasure, and it's easy to spill out onto the terrace on fine days. Just a short walk away, sea and surf await you on the shores of Cardigan Bay. With traditional village pubs dotted along the route down, it would be a shame not to stop off for a drink on the way back. But as evening draws in, be sure to head back home – the hot tub is the place to be as the sun sets.
