This lovely stone barn is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the beauty of God’s Own Country. We’re not surprised this place has fabulous reviews. With views of rolling hills and nothing but the sound of birdsong to be heard, it’s hard to believe you’re only 4 miles from Harrogate’s bustling town centre. Inside there’s a country-luxe feel, with antique farm equipment and game trophies adorning the walls, alongside high-end furnishings. We love the thought that’s gone into the details, from the board games to the cotton dressing gowns. As well as a private terrace, guests have access to all ten acres of the grounds, with herb gardens, scented lavender beds and plenty of wildlife to discover. We adore the freestanding bathtub – it’s perfect for a soak after a long walk or a bike ride on the Tour de Yorkshire route. The unique landscape of the Dales National Park is a twenty-minute drive away. It’s the same distance to Brimham Rocks, while the market and spa town of Knaresborough is just over fifteen minutes in the car. Closer to home, there are four pubs to sample within two miles – bliss.
