Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Right next to the Santi Giovanni e Reparata Church, set on the Piazza San Giovanni itself, this home is completely immersed in local history and culture. And at less than a minute walk to the San Martino Cathedral, you’ll hear the chimes from the ancient bells of religious buildings all around. Located inside Lucca’s city walls, this loft apartment is the perfect base for discovering the medieval heart of this breathtaking city. As soon as you arrive, pour a Bellini and step out to the huge private terrace – the views are simply unmatched. From up here, marvel at striking city panoramas, as well as the rolling hills of the Garfagnana. Inside, the eaves of this home have been put to good use – cleverly lit white beams create a bright and open living space with a modern, minimalist feel. While the glossy kitchen is ideal for rustling up a platter of cured Tuscan meats and cheese, we imagine you’ll be eating out most of the time. Choose a delightful restaurant on the Piazza del Giglio, 100 metres from home. Share stories over a glass of chianti in a rustic trattoria, after a day of exploration in the city. Saluti!

Most of the action happens in Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, a vast central square lined with alfresco restaurants and Renaissance-era architecture. There’s a buzzy nightlife scene centred around cool enotecas and craft beer bars. On Via Fillungo, you’ll find some of Lucca’s finest boutiques, with high-end...
