Inside a historic building in the charming city of Lucca, this apartment is the ideal place for your Italian escape. The first thing you'll notice are the elaborate ceilings, which are over 300 years old, providing an elegant, historic backdrop to your Tuscan stay. The cosy bedrooms look out over Guinigi Tower, and you're just a short walk from Lucca's city walls – the perfect place for a morning walk or run. Start your day with a fresh coffee from the kitchen, where you'll find both Italian and American coffee makers, then head out to wander the streets of Lucca, visiting Piazza Napoleone and climbing Guinigi Tower to admire the view over Tuscany. After a day exploring the charms of the local area, come home to prepare a typical dinner in the charming, farm-style kitchen and settle down in front of the TV with a glass of Tuscan red.
