With views of Villa Bottini’s Renaissance gardens, this Lucca apartment is a park-side haven that’s all about the finer things in life. Opulent rooms with ornately tiled floors, large windows, tall ceilings and elegant furniture create an aristocratic atmosphere. Think tea parties in the living room, extravagant feasts around the dining table and luxurious breakfasts in the white, typically Italian kitchen. Jewel-coloured accents add to the bedrooms’ sumptuous decor, where plump throw pillows, elaborate headboards and classical art create serene and sophisticated spaces you’ll relish retreating to after a day of sightseeing and cycling around Lucca on the home’s fleet of bicycles. But the jewel in the crown of this royally decadent home is the private rooftop terrace. With sweeping panoramic views over the whole city, this is the perfect spot for cocktails or memorable starlit dinners catered by a private chef.
