Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
How often do you get the chance to stay in a palace? On a darling little piazza? In the heart of authenticity, with a lively local atmosphere seconds away from the home’s quiet solace? That’s what you get with this central Florentine apartment. Situated within an old Renaissance palace, you’re overlooking the buzzing little Piazza del Carmine. All of Florence’s attractions are easily reached from here, particularly the Oltrarno sights as well as Santo Spirito and Ponte Vecchio. The apartment itself is like a time capsule of Renaissance Florence with gilded mirrors adorning the walls, herringbone floors, and oil paintings above plush beds. There’s plenty of seats in the living room; leather sofas, recliner chairs and a beautiful serpentine sofa to embrace palatial living. They say when in Rome, do as the Romans do. We say; when in Florence, stay in a palace.

About Pitti
Unsurprisingly, Pitti stretches from the Palazzo Pitti – a Renaissance palace housing a vast European art collection – up to the river. Historically a working-class neighbourhood, today it’s full of boutique and artisan shops, leftovers from the tradesmen who used to inhabit the streets.
