This is Italy in its finest, purest form. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and wild crops, this beautifully restored trullo building is a homage to Puglia’s humble origins. An architectural delight, with its white-stone spires and coned roof, the effect is nothing short of a fairytale home. The interior benefits from all-stone walls, floors and low archways, with ceramic jugs, woven baskets and antique ornaments that create a boho-chic and calming ambience in every room. The bedrooms are full of hidden treasures too, from a sunken shower-bath carved into rock, shelves suspended by rope, and stone fireplaces features. Outside, take a dip in the pool, lounge on comfy wicker sofas, or head up to the roof terrace for aperitivo on the pallet seats. As day turns to night, this place becomes a pocket of rural charm, with a covered patio area and terrace to dine alfresco long into the evening, while gazing across acres of country fields enhanced by the orange sunset hue. When morning arrives, discover the delights of Alberobello, just a 5-minute drive away – as its name suggests, the town is a picture of Southern Italian beauty.
