Beautifully converted with great reverence to its past use, the hosts have also managed to create a stylish and luxurious home with an eclectic mix of old and new. Think flagstone floors and ceiling beams, alongside a sleek, modern kitchen. Divided into two parts, the main house and an annexe, it's a very special place to stay – with a long and fascinating history. When it comes to outside space, this home has it all, with a beautiful pool, inflatable hot tub and all sorts of shaded terraces and private nooks. Eat outside in the large poolside gazebo, which comes complete with a kitchenette, traditional wood-fired barbecue and lounge area, or serve up a formal feast in the enclosed inner courtyard. With its own chapel, it's even possible to book this fabulous place for special events.

• A conference room / ballroom is available for hire for weddings and events. Please enquire with your host directly during the booking process to confirm availability.

• Conference room/ballroom €2,000.00 in case of events or weddings and €500.00 per week as standard use for the guests staying in the villa.
