Perched on the rolling Tuscan hills outside the Medieval city of Lucca sits this grandiose home – a memory of a bygone age of Italian opulence. The breathtaking gardens are a particular highlight of the home, with the well-tended green grass lawns surrounded by Mediterranean herb bushes, cypress and cedar trees, and various specimens of exotic palm trees. Enjoy an afternoon cocktail, sitting in the sunshine in one of the wicker armchairs, or challenge a friend to a game of table tennis on the lawn. Alternatively, sit down with the family to enjoy an alfresco meal around the shaded outdoor dinner table, perhaps with food cooked on the mobile barbecue. Take a dip in the pool to cool off from the midday Tuscan sun. Inside the villa, the theme of elegant opulence continues with the beautiful living room, and four unique bedrooms. The master bedroom even boasts an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and a jacuzzi jet bath for unwinding and relaxing after a day of seeing the sights. In the kitchen, the traditional wood-fired oven is perfect for cooking handmade pizza. Finally, there's a children’s playroom for the little ones, as well as a home gym with a... running treadmill and a weights bench to keep in shape.
