Fulfil all your Tuscan dreams at this hilltop villa. Surrounded by lush gardens with incredible views over the rolling countryside, you'll have a hard time summoning up the will to leave and explore the local area. Set over three floors, there are plenty of spaces to unwind, including in front of the traditional Tuscan fireplace in the living room. Head upstairs to the secluded reading room for an ideal place to settle in with a book, enjoying the warm breeze from an open window. In the kitchen, the Carrara marble shelves and antique pantry lend an authentic air, with modern amenities hidden out of sight. After you've rustled up a dish even the best Italian chef would be proud of, dine on the terrace in the shade of the climbing plants and trees – there's also a barbecue for a memorable meal. You won't be able to resist a dip in the swimming pool, shaded as it is by ancient olive trees, but there are also sun loungers if you'd like to make the most of the Tuscan sun. This home is also the perfect base to explore historic destinations like Lucca – home to medieval city walls and a... museum dedicated to Puccini – just make sure to be back in time for sunset over the hills with a glass of local red in hand.
