Sit out on the balcony of this home and enjoy the view over the Umbrian Valley. The lush, green countryside is echoed in the home’s 3.5-hectare garden, where you’ll find an olive grove with 700 trees, alongside manicured lawns and terracotta terraces nearer the home. Breathe in the scent of oleander flowers and fig, plum and fruit trees as you make your way to the pergola framed by trailing plants – the perfect spot for an alfresco lunch cooked on the traditional wood oven. You’re likely to spend much of your time laying back on the sunbeds or swimming in the pool, but in the evenings, the glass gazebo is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of local wine. Inside, as well as the main kitchen and grand living space, you’ll find a separate kitchen, sitting room and two bedrooms on the lower floor, making this a great space for two families or groups of friends. The historic town of Foligno is just 5km away, with Perugia a 40-minute drive and Siena only a little further in the distance.
