Ah, Tuscany. There’s no better way to explore the verdant Italian countryside than from a rustic farmhouse, and this home has tradition (and charm) in spades. Dating back to the early 1900s, this stone-walled villa with authentic wooden beams has plenty of modern assets, like a luxe swimming pool and cleverly hidden solar panels for those all-important eco-credentials. Whether you’re swinging on a hammock, taking a stroll beneath the majestic oaks that make up the enormous woodlands surrounding the home, or sipping wine on the terrace, you’ll find yourself instantly rejuvenated by the fresh air and natural beauty of the Italian hills. And there’s no chance the kids will get bored – between splashing about in the kidney shaped pool, getting a table-tennis tournament going, or hanging out in their very own private playroom, this home is a paradise for children as well as adults.
