Sitting proudly amongst the Tuscan hills, this fine villa looks out across olive groves and vineyards, as well as an ancient hilltop fort. Equidistant between the provinces of Florence and Pisa, there is a wealth of cultural gems to explore, including the nearby town Vinci (of Leonardo fame). The grounds and gardens are extensive and beautiful, interspersed with olive trees and sweet-scented Mediterranean herbs. The immaculate swimming pool is set over three levels, with the Jacuzzi cascading down into the infinity pool and then on into a shallower children’s pool. Inside the handsome villa, with its classic shuttered windows and scalloped terracotta roof tiles, you’ll find a cool and calm retreat from the Tuscan sun. Exposed brickwork and natural tones of sand and honeyed stone create a calming atmosphere, and there is lovely antique furniture throughout.
