French rural living steeped in aristocratic elegance, this grand estate in the scenic Loire Valley will leave you breathless. Surrounded by more than 100 hectares of manicured gardens, meadows and woodland, you can stroll or cycle around the extensive grounds to your heart's content – and you're likely to bump into some of the local wildlife around one of the five ponds. This home comprises of the refurbished manor house (seven bedrooms), two gîtes (three and four bedrooms) and an additional dormitory (two bunk-bedrooms), offering flexible space for up to thirty-six guests. With impressive reception rooms to boot and two large annexe rooms, it's the ideal setting for a wedding or special reunion with friends or family. Grandeur and decadence reign supreme in the main house with glorious drawing rooms, ornate antique furniture and working fireplaces; while the other properties on the estate have a more contemporary feel. Spend summer days outside paddling about in the pool or engaging in a heated tennis match. A boules pitch also promises hours of fun in the afternoon sunshine. When the weather refuses to cooperate, head inside for a friendly game of pool or table tennis. If you have a musician in your... group, a sing-song around the grand piano is definitely in order. And when it's time for a bit of an adventure, you'll love discovering the charming villages in the surrounding area, and if you have time, a thirty-minute drive will take you to the riverside town of Blois, famous for its magnificent castle.

About France
You could easily take a lifetime’s worth of French holidays and still feel like you haven’t scratched the nation’s surface. The most visited country in the world, France has long inspired artists, revolutionaries, dreamers, and bons vivants with its storybook landscapes, artistic treasures, and cultural idiosyncrasies. Paris is, of course, the country’s glittering centrepiece but there are countless beauty spots worth discovering outside of the City of Light. Sun yourself...

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
