Although if you do, the historic port town of Omis, its beach and the Cetina River are only fifteen minutes’ drive away. Closer to home, you can reach the charming village of Gata in just a few minutes by car. Throw open the double doors in the open-plan living space to reveal your private terrace, where you can enjoy alfresco dining and sunset swimming in total peace while taking in some pretty mesmerising sea views. This would be a great place to take the family, as there’s something to keep all ages entertained (we won’t ask whether it’s you or your children hogging the PS4). While everyone might be off doing their own thing at different times of the day, you’ll surely come together for delicious barbecues out on the patio and Netflix movie nights cosied up on the sofa.
