This stucco and brick terraced house in Belgravia has kept its early Victorian style alive with ornate furniture and charming era-appropriate artwork that gives a glimpse into historic London. You’ll relax by the original fireplace in the bright living room and head through to the adjoining study area to get a little work done at the antique desk. The formal dining room is just as quaint, with a large round table where you’ll gather for breakfasts and evening feasts. Crucially, it has moved on from the nineteenth century in other areas, such as the dazzlingly white kitchen and a soft grey colour palette adopted throughout. If you luck out with the weather, you can enjoy afternoon tea out on your private patio, but if it does rain — this is London after all — you can take shelter in the independent boutiques and fine-dining restaurants on the King's Road, just a short dash from your front door.

About Belgravia

Belgravia is London at its grandest. Think pristine, stuccoed facades lining exclusive streets and garden squares. Grand as this district may be, there is a profound community spirit present between the locals and shop owners that is charming. The area tends to be less crowded than surrounding parts of the city, even though you couldn’t get much more central, with Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace on your doorstep and the...
