With one of California's best surf spots – County Line – right outside and a large deck from which to check the swell, this bright and roomy apartment could be said to be a surfer's paradise. There's nothing more magical than watching pods of dolphins swimming with the surfers and seals popping their heads out of the water as you relax on your balcony with a homemade margarita in your hand. Feeling peckish after a sunset surf session? Fire up the barbecue and scan the horizon for signs of breaching grey whales and humpbacks as the ocean breeze ruffles your hair. Alternatively, sip an aperitif by the open fireplace, then retire to the super comfy raised bed to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves surging up the beach. There's more than enough space for two people to enjoy a romantic getaway here, with a large living room and a kitchen complete with sleek wooden cabinets and marble surfaces, plus a gym and Jacuzzi where you can stretch and soothe your muscles after a couple of hours in the ocean. Trot down a small wooden staircase and right onto Livingstone Beach. And if that wasn't enough, there are... miles upon miles of beaches and coastal mountains to explore nearby. You might like to drive fifteen minutes to Central Malibu for its restaurants and markets or even head into West Hollywood to experience the best of the city of Angels – it's approximately 40 miles east along the Pacific Coast Highway.
