Set in the heart of Le Marais, one of the most beautiful and lively neighbourhoods of Paris, this home is especially enviable when it comes to its location. You’ll be just two minutes from Marché des Enfants Rouges, a typical Parisian food market where you can pick up fresh produce or try delicious Lebanese fare. You’ll also be surrounded by art on all sides, just an eight-minute walk from the Picasso Museum, twelve minutes from the Carnavalet Museum and fourteen from Centre Pompidou – although the whole neighbourhood, with its narrow cobblestone streets and former mansions, feels a bit like an open-air museum already. The home itself is enviable for its own set of reasons – with original exposed limestone walls and oiled oak floors, its authentic character has been lovingly preserved. There’s a modern kitchen, elegant dining area, massive cosy sectional and our personal favourite – the lovely private courtyard with a dining table for meals alfresco and a vertical garden that’s thriving. Spend early mornings out here with a strong coffee and also some late nights, chatting over a bottle (or two) of good French wine.
