This 1828 home is living proof of reincarnation. Originally a Wesleyan Meeting House, this building has also housed a corset factory and a furniture bonding warehouse. Now, it’s a central and cool base from which to explore Woodbridge, tucked away on one of the prettiest and quietest streets of the market town. While the home maintains its industrial roots, the vibe has been transformed into something more contemporary, reminiscent of a New York style loft apartment that’s utterly different from the typical homes here. We love the exposed brick, intricate metalwork and huge skylight that brings light into the open-concept living area, where you’ll find plenty of plush seating options, especially around the wood burner. There’s also a separate snug area where younger members of the family can set up camp while you finish up work at the desk space. The bedrooms are ultra cosy, prioritising comfort and rest above all else, and when it’s time to explore, you’ll be in a historic town on the River Deben, with a popular marina, ancient buildings and a picturesque church. There are many specialist shops, art galleries and restaurants to keep you entertained. Plus, you’ll be right near the Suffolk Coast &... Heaths AONB, with tonnes of gorgeous roaming landscape to hike and cycle through.
