Perched in the ancient pine trees, high above the beautiful coastline and surrounding village of Mortehoe below, this stately home stands out amongst the rest. From the moment you step foot over the threshold, you'll notice the high ceilings, original features and stripped wooden floors that make for a real sense of space throughout the home. After an afternoon spent wandering the North Devon and Exmoor countryside, unwind in the light and airy living space with friends and family. You'll find an ornate fireplace, crushed velvet furnishings and statement lighting that creates a really sleek and elegant area to relax. Moving into the chic kitchen and dining area, we think there's somewhat of a Scandi feel to the space, with white Eames-style chairs, low-hanging lampshades and a minimalist design. Upstairs, the cosy master bedroom offers distant sea views out of the dual aspect windows, a copper effect metal bed frame and a velvet ottoman for extra storage. But the real highlight of the home is the outside space. We can think of nothing better than balmy summer evenings spent out in the peaceful and private garden area.
