With sea views and serene interiors, this apartment in Marazion is ideal for a romantic coastal escape. The soothing colour scheme is as relaxing as a day at the beach, while the comfy furnishings provide plenty of spots to kick back and relax. And it doesn't lack charm, either – everywhere you look there are nods to the area's nautical roots, the star of which is the original ship window above the kitchen sink. The ocean outlook makes washing up something to look forward to, while the induction range stove will get your creative culinary juices flowing. But the real showstopper is the south-facing terrace off the bedroom. Wake up to the sight of Mount's Bay in the morning, then pull up a chair, pour yourself a glass of wine and watch the sunset each evening. When you're ready to venture out, you'll be spoilt for choice, whether you want to kitesurf and paddleboard, grab a bite to eat or sprawl out Marazion Beach (a ten-minute stroll away). And, of course, a trip to Marazion isn't complete without a visit to St Michael's Mount – when the tide is low, you can walk across the causeway to the famous castle... in under twenty minutes, but you can always hop on a ferry when the tide rolls in.
