This gorgeous chapel conversion has been featured in Sussex Life and Country Homes & Interiors magazines – and deservedly so. Lovingly renovated and gracefully updated, there’s a New England-style approach to the interiors – think coastal colour schemes, nautical stripes and maritime curiosities beneath double-height ceilings. The living space melds traditional warmth with contemporary elegance. A squashy, L-shaped couch in front of the fire feels snug and cosy, while the kitchen has all the accoutrements a chef could wish for. Luxuriously soft beds dressed in White Company linens make it impossible to resist the urge of an extra-long lie-in. And to top it all off, you have a private decked patio sitting aside a trickling stream – it’s utterly idyllic on a warm summer’s evening. Bosham village, said to be referenced in the second scene of the Bayeux Tapestry, is a gorgeous place that comes alive in the warmer months. Watch boats to and fro from the harbour, a five-minute walk from your doorstep, or follow the footpaths along the shoreline as an orange sunset glows above the coast.
