Many people want to experience the old world of this city and stay in its quintessentially Parisian 19th-century Haussmann buildings. A twenty-minute walk from the Montparnasse tower, this is a more urban part of the city, with a facade to match. Square balconies jut out from the front of the building, and a range of tiles adorn the walls up to the entrance. Inside, the decor continues on a sixties vibe, with a banquette dining area, wood-panelled feature wall, and mid-century furniture creating a coffee area in the lounge. In the bedrooms it’s a similar story, with funky patterned feature walls behind the headboards. While it might not be the sort of Parisian apartment you’d come to expect, we think anyone can fall in love with the bright, colourful, and playful feel of this home. While its vintage character is as charming as the local area, you can venture out further via the Montparnasse metro, fifteen minutes away.
