We can't get enough of them, to be honest – morning, noon or night, you'll love sitting out on the patio with a mug of tea and a good book, basking in the serene landscape. Even inside, you can make the most of the scenery, thanks to the folding doors. Another thing we adore about this home is the sense of space – there's double-height ceilings in the beautiful living area, two bedrooms (including a sumptuous master in the mezzanine) and a separate study if you need to get down to business. And the rustic touches are everywhere you look, from the wooden beams and wagon wheel chandeliers down to the Aga-style stove and stone tiles on the floor. Only a few miles from Witney, it's just a quick drive to the pubs, shops and restaurants in town – or, if you're in the mood to walk, take the shortcut along the farm track. Plus, you're on the cusp of the Cotswolds, so many of the postcard-worthy villages are within driving distance, too.
