Situated on a small family-run agricultural nursery, we think this luxury lodge is the perfect place to switch off and recharge. Not only is the location excellent – the idyllic South Downs are practically on your doorstep – but the attention to detail here is second-to-none. Rainfall showers and eco-friendly toiletries in the bathrooms, Netflix on the smart TVs and a panini maker in the kitchen are just a few of the things we love. The design is impeccable with blue velvet, dark greys and lots of wood. It's the perfect blend between rustic, country living and contemporary comforts, with chic furniture handmade by host Lucca. Speaking of, he'll leave a welcome hamper brimming with goodies for you to enjoy, and depending on the season, it'll contain fresh Italian fruit and veg grown on their farm. Days start and end here out on the deck, enjoying alfresco breakfasts in the sun and evening dips in the private hot tub. In between, set off and explore the local area – just walk out the front gates and you're on the National Trust South Downs footpath, leading towards Highdown Hill. A fourteen-minute walk away is the local pub, a few eateries and... shops in Ferring, and it's only a five-minute drive to the beach. And with Worthing, Chichester and Brighton all less than an hour by car, you'll have plenty of options for adventures around West Sussex.

Host
This home is managed by Luca and Trina
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Lucca and Trina are an Italian family who own an agricultural nursery. Big on tradition, they love sharing their back-to-basics lifestyle with guests. You can often catch them harvesting their fresh fruit and veggies to use in tomato sauce or homemade wines – and depending on the season, they'll share their homegrown produce with guests. They live at the nursery, so they can be around as much or as little as you like. Anything you need, just ask.
