If you’re looking for a unique stay in Oxfordshire, you’ve certainly found one. This traditional shepherd’s hut is truly one of a kind. While it's just a twenty-minute drive from the ancient city of Oxford, and twenty minutes to unlimited hiking in the Chiltern Hills, it feels a world away from everything. However, as well as being so remote and wild in its setting, it offers an incredibly luxurious experience. Cue the private hot tub. A traditional, log-fired tub awaits you in this countryside kingdom, along with a fire pit and covered dining patio for alfresco meals. You’ll be stargazing every night from one of your outdoor spots, but if it gets too chilly, this hut is simply the definition of cosy. You’ll be welcomed in by wooden interiors with a fresh, country cottage decor. Wrap up in your fluffy dressing gowns and get the kettle on for a hot toddy before bed. If you want a rugged escape where you can get into the heart of rural living, this is it – stoke the fire well, as it’s powering your hot water, and solar panels are collecting the rays on sunny English afternoons for your electricity.
