Tucked away on a tranquil street in Boston's postcard-worthy Beacon Hill, this cosy apartment is ideal for a solo traveller or a couple on a getaway in Bean Town. Known for its picturesque Federal rowhouses, this neighbourhood oozes charm, from the red brick sidewalks to the tree-lined streets. There's a reason why it's a highly sought after postcode – it's close to everything, including two subway stations. Head north to the restaurants and taverns on Cambridge Street (a three-minute walk), while Boston Common is a five-minute stroll in the opposite direction. Following a long day exploring the sights, come home and unwind in this snug apartment, situated in a traditional brownstone. We love the glossy hardwood floors and homely furniture, which only add to the warm feeling. Space is a little tight, especially in the kitchen – there's no oven or dishwasher, but it still comes well-stocked to rustle up light bites if you're not in the mood to dine out. With so much on your doorstep, we doubt you'll spend much time at home, but if you need a quiet night recharging your batteries, the streaming options on the Chromecast will keep you entertained.

About Cambridge

Spread across the north shore of the Charles River, Cambridge is a separate city from Boston with its own distinctive character. Depending on the time of year, you’ll see wild turkeys crossing the streets and rabbits ducking in and out of front lawns. Students are similarly seasonal, though the institutions they belong to, most notably Harvard University, are perennial staples that form the heart of this small city. There’s an...
