Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Known for grand boulevards, gourmet restaurants and trendy international boutiques, Madrid's Salamanca district is one of the most glamorous in the city. You'll find this stylish apartment in the heart of this upmarket neighbourhood, only a ten-minute walk from Parque de El Retiro and a twenty-five-minute metro ride from Plaza Mayor. It's an excellent location that's close to everything yet tucked away from the more tourist-heavy spots. Inside, the sophisticated design matches this chic area perfectly, with a mix of light and dark colours. The wooden detailing and quintessential Juliet balcony add plenty of character, making this a cosy, charming pad to retreat after a long day. Curl up on the sofa with Netflix and a glass of wine, unwind with a soak in the bathtub or sway along to a song playing on the vinyl player. Those in town on business will love having a private work area to retreat to, while keen home chefs can rustle up a Spanish feast in the fully-stocked kitchen. For a family or group of friends wanting modern living and space to spread out, we think this pad is an excellent choice.

Local guide

About Salamanca

Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
