This bijou duplex apartment puts you amidst the leafy boulevards and cobbled streets of Montparnasse. The international train station is a twenty-minute stroll away and in the area to find typical bistros, boulangeries and pavement cafés to sample. Getting into the centre of Paris is easy too, with Plaisance metro station a nine-minute walk. Floor to ceiling windows in the apartment’s living room flood the place with natural light and the decor is a delightful medley of brilliant white and pops of cerulean and brass. If you’re not popping to the bakery for a pain au chocolat, the compact kitchen has everything you need to start the day and you can breakfast in the sunny window spot before hitting the city.

About Montparnasse & Catacombs
This part of town is mostly residential but works well as a base for exploring the charms of the nearby 6th and the 7th arrondissements. It was famously home to a community of prominent twentieth-century artists and intellectuals - Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, Max Ernst and Pablo Picasso to name a few. Parc Montsouris is one of the city's most colourful public spaces and well worth seeking out. Be sure to check out the Roman Catacombs too if you're of the morbid disposition - stacks of skulls and bones await you!

Meet the original Iron Lady: la Tour Eiffel
Gustave Eiffel's iconic, wrought-iron 1889 tower, climb the 665 steps or take the lift to the observation decks if you prefer. The panoramic views of Paris are second to none.
Have lunch with the family at Le Petit Pan
Smaller and more informal than its big brother le Grand Pan further down the roda, this bistrot serves up hearty French classics as well as its own take on burger and chips.
Dine like a local at Le Grand Pan
A little more pricey and sophisticated that it's smaller brother down the road, le Grand Pan serves up all manner of carnivorous French specialities with a great wine selection to choose from.
Relax in Georges Brassens Park
When the sun's out or a bit of fresh, you are 10 minutes away from the Georges-Brassens park.
Stroll along La Petite Ceinture
This old railway has been refitted as a green promenade. It’s a nice place to jog or go on a walk.
Explore the industrial beauty of Church of Our Lady of Labour
This late 1800s church, built with recycled materials from the 1855 World's Fair, showcases an unadorned interior with dramatic iron pillars and arches. A hidden gem for architecture enthusiasts.
Indulge in Italian pizza at il Macchiato
Experience the flavours of Southern Italy at this charming cafe in Paris. Sip on outstanding Lavazza coffee, paired perfectly with homemade pastries like pistachio canistrelli and Nutella-filled cornetti. Enjoy great service and a cloud of coffee happiness.
Explore St Antoine de Padoue Church
Built in the 1930s, this Place of Worship showcases architectural and spiritual vitality. Its beautiful interior and boat hull structure make it a point of interest worth visiting.
