Nestled in the verdant Italian countryside, this traditional villa is a real gem. You'll catch glimpses of it through the olive trees as you get closer, before pulling up to admire the beautifully restored farmhouse. Step inside, and you'll find plenty of traditional touches, from the wooden ceiling beams to the ancient maps on the walls and, of course, the terracotta tiles on the floors. There's plenty of space for your whole group to spread out and get comfortable in the charming living room, and budding chefs will love whipping up some delicious Italian fare in the smart kitchen. The indoor dining space is a gorgeous place to serve up your culinary creations, but we think you might like to head out to the long table on the patio, the perfect spot for an alfresco feast as the sun goes down. The garden is also home to a group of outdoor sofas, where you can flop down with a great book, several sun loungers, and the crowning glory – a beautiful shared swimming pool. You could easily spend eternity in this little patch of heaven, but should you want to get out and about then the gorgeous landscapes nearby are... yours to explore. And, with the Renaissance city of Lucca just twelve minutes away by car, authentic restaurants, historic museums and cobbled streets are waiting for you too.
