Once a Georgian worker’s cottage, this recently renovated home has been brought into sparkling 21st-century style with a cool modern touch. Located in Islington, the area’s elegance is reflected in the stylish minimalism that defines this four-floor home. The lower ground floor boasts an enormous kitchen and dining area with double doors that lead out onto a sunny south-facing garden – the ideal spot for celebratory alfresco meals. The upper ground floor is taken up by the bright living room where shelves stacked with books and a large comfortable sofa invite you to kick back and relax over a glass of wine while enjoying the light pouring in through the sash windows. Onto the next floor and you’ll find two stylishly pared-back bedrooms – one of which has an en-suite rainfall shower that feels spa-like in its luxuriousness – while the master bedroom on the top floor has a roll-top bath that beckons blissful soaks with a glass of bubbly after a day of exploring the city on foot. Factor in the additional sun terrace – the perfect place for morning coffees and romantic sundowners – and you're all set for a relaxing stay. Outside of your home, Islington is... bursting with cute cafes and shops to discover and Regent’s Canal is a twenty-minute walk away for long afternoon ambles. Elsewhere, trendy Dalston is walkable in thirty minutes, as is King’s Cross and Granary Square.

About Islington
Tree-lined terraces of very enviable Georgian townhouses, amazing restaurants, coffeeshops, and gastropubs, it's not hard to see why Islington is so popular with affluent media types. It's very well connected (ten minutes on the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus) and it's got a wonderfully residential feel - almost totally tourist free for some strange reason. Have a roast lunch at the Drapers Arms on a weekend and you'll quickly realise what makes Islington living so sought-after.
