Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
When we say this home is a stone's throw (or a rather outstanding serve) away from the Wimbledon Tennis Club, we really mean it. Yes, get your Fedoras and Ray-Bans at the ready, because this stylish family house is a mere twenty minutes' walk from the famous grounds. In a quiet street away from the flocks of Federer fans, this spot is also less than a twenty-minute walk from charming Wimbledon Village, filled with a wealth of boutique-style shops, gourmet restaurants and upscale bars – those not into their tennis or staying outside of the two-week tournament will also love this location for its scenic surroundings and close-knit community. Inside, the home's soft pastel walls are whimsical and playful, while the mid-century furniture, pendant lighting, dark wood surfaces and colourful scatter cushions make for a revived, funky style. Bright and airy, natural light pours in through the huge bay windows that allow the curated houseplants to thrive in a breathable space. The open-plan layout means you can chat with your guests while preparing a jug of Pimms in the stylish chef's kitchen. But the crème de la crème (strawberries and cream) of this home is the delightful garden and patio... area. Defy the unpredictable British weather and enjoy alfresco meals under the handy marquee all summer long. Fitted with astroturfing and plenty of squishy outdoor seating, this is the perfect spot to gather everyone together at the end of a thrilling day watching the stars on Centre Court.

Local guide
About Wimbledon
It might well be most people's primary association with the area, but the truth is there's so much more to Wimbledon than tennis. With the wilds of the Common, plus verdant Richmond and Wimbledon Parks close by, and the village at the top of the hill, visitors would be forgiven for thinking they'd left London altogether. Central London is actually only 30 minutes away by tube so Wimbledon really does represent the best of both worlds. With its parks, leafy streets, period houses, excellent pubs and boutique shopping, it's little wonder that Richmond is so popular with affluent families.
