The Cotswolds is one of only forty-six regions with the award of ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. And when your cottage sits within these coveted landscapes, it’s very easy to understand where this title came from. Just a five-minute stroll from the village centre of Paxford (and only three to the local pub), this charming home offers an experience of traditional, English countryside life. While your host can arrange tons of exciting experiences in and out of the home – no matter whether you’re a wellbeing expert, foodie, or outdoorsy type – most of all, you’ll enjoy simply relaxing in this 19th-century abode. Retaining original elements such as beams, wooden window sills, and a wood-burner in the fireplace, this is the perfect home to hang up your hiking boots after exploring the rolling greens. A colourful, modern update brings the interiors to life, with bright blue wooden wall panels, and plush, upholstered furniture. From the French doors, step out to your patio and garden, where you can sit out with a glass of fine English sparkling wine. We love the tall fir tree and thick hedges, creating a private space which feels a world away from urban life.
