This Eastern-inspired home in Barcelona feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Step inside, and you'll instantly feel at ease, thanks to the neutral colour palette and simple yet stylish design. There are plenty of Japanese details to admire, from the custom woodwork in the entrance hall, to the woven hanging fabric on the walls. Throw open the shutters and breathe in some air at the window seat, perhaps accompanied by a cup of freshly-brewed green tea, or head outside to your private patio. The smart kitchen has everything you need to cook up some delicious dishes, before you gather your guests in the stunning dining area, with its ebony furniture and bamboo plants. When it's time to head out and about, you'll find yourself in the heart of Dreta de L'Eixample, a highly desirable neighbourhood famous for its art nouveau apartment buildings and long boulevards. Pick up a coffee and spend some time strolling the streets and admiring the architecture, before ticking off your sightseeing list. Two of Gaudí's most famous works, the Sagrada Familia and Casa Milà are within a fifteen-minute walk of your front door, and if you want to travel... further afield then Verdaguer station is just five minutes away.

Local guide
About Sagrada Família
La Sagrada Família is the neighbourhood immediately surrounding Barcelona’s greatest and largest attraction - the Sagrada Família. As Gaudí’s opus magnum, the architectural behemoth has been in construction for over a century, and some say asking when will it be finished is the easiest way to anger a local. The immediate vicinity of the cathedral is always busy, but the rest of the area is upscale and residential, making it quieter than one would expect. The vast avenues are home to a variety of cafes, shops, and beautifully designed parks.
