The home itself stands bay-windowed and bold, bright white against the blue sky. Built around 1840, it’s a Grade II listed building with two acres of stepped, walled garden to explore. Terraces with panoramic sea views, a swimming pool with adjoining hot tub, flowerbeds bursting with bloom and secret grottos fill the grounds. When dinner calls, there are plenty of places to dine – the sunny orangery that opens out onto the terrace, the sunny cubby hole in the kitchen or in the long, formal dining room.
