There's nothing quite like escaping to the country for a few days and this converted stable barn is a million miles away from the stresses of day-to-day life. Bright, open and immaculate in every way, it's a place to relax, take a deep breath of fresh, country air and enjoy the company of your loved ones. Set on the owners' farm, and right next to their stables, you'll have a great view of the horses being fed each morning – something that's bound to excite the children. Anything but rustic, the interiors here are stylish and high-end, with wide-plank flooring and plenty of fabulous stripped back timber beams. The huge living space, surrounded on three sides by floor-to-ceiling windows, is the heart of the home, with squashy velvet sofas, a dining table for six and a delightful kitchen. Equipped with everything you could need, keen cooks will be in their element. Set in the South Downs National Park, with views across the rolling hills, here you'll have your own private lawned garden area and you're welcome to explore the rest of the grounds. It's a twenty-minute walk into the pretty market town of Bishop's Waltham, with its shops and pubs, and... don't miss a visit to the ruins of its historic abbey. And it's less than a half-hour drive to both Southampton and Portsmouth.
