The Royal Mile is one of the most beloved streets in all of Edinburgh, and this cosy home is just steps away from the ancient thoroughfare. It's a beautiful space with subtle Scottish accents in the form of thistle-coloured purple accents and the occasional pop of tartan, but there's a stylish, contemporary feel throughout. You'll feel right at home here, as you settle down on the sofa – perhaps with a wee dram of whiskey – and plan your itinerary. The imposing Edinburgh Castle is just a minute away from your front door, where you can immerse yourself in the fortress' long history. Or, if you take a five-minute wander through Princes Street Gardens, you'll find yourself on the city's most famous shopping street and the gateway to the Georgian new town. For a fabulous view, you can also walk up Calton Hill, just fifteen minutes away on foot, or if you're feeling more energetic take a hike up Arthur's Seat, an extinct volcano that overlooks the city. And, when you return home at the end of a busy day exploring, the deep free-standing bath tub is ready and waiting for you to indulge in a long, luxurious soak.
