Right in the heart of the village of Otterburn, this cosy and rather stylish home is perfect if you're keen to explore this beautiful area. On the banks of the River Rede, it's known for its local pubs and restaurants – as well as its proximity to the Northumberland National Park. Here the hiking is some of the best in the country and you're likely to spot red squirrels and deer. Inside, it's been put together with a great deal of design flair. The comfortable living room feels like home the minute you step inside, with navy blue walls, an imposing stone fireplace and warm wood floors. There's a squashy, L-shaped sofa for evenings in front of the log burner and some quirky and cool decor, while the kitchen is modern and practical. But it's the bedrooms that steal the show here, with supremely comfortable beds and contemporary colour schemes. And we just love the pretty bathroom and its sloping ceiling and statement tiles. You'll have outside space too, thanks to a private garden with a deck, but if you fancy an evening meal at the village instead, it's just a stroll away.
