Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Located on an iconic street serialised in Alexander McCall Smith’s beloved Scotland Street books, this beautiful Georgian apartment combines nineteenth-century elegance with luxury modern comforts. Tall corniced ceilings, wood floors and an abundance of light coming in through the sash windows create an instantly welcoming feel with chic, contemporary furnishings inviting you to make yourself at home. We love the living room’s large suede sofas that beckon relaxing evenings over a glass of wine by the period working fireplace, and the large kitchen bathed in natural light that’s ready to cater celebratory feasts aplenty. The three bedrooms, meanwhile, have each been carefully curated with a sophisticated touch and boast similarly large windows that give way to New Town views. We’re particularly fond of the main bedroom’s en-suite – a spa-like space with its rainfall shower and tempting tub, the latter providing the perfect end to a night with a glass of bubbly. With ample entertainment options, plenty of children’s equipment on hand, as well as a lavish amount of space in which to socialise or spend some quiet time alone, this is an ideal base for those looking to make the most out of their city stay. Outside of your home,...

About New Town

Edinburgh’s New Town isn’t new at all – it’s a glorious example of 18th-century Georgian town planning and architecture that has rightfully earned its UNESCO World Heritage Status. There’s a lot more than beautiful architecture on offer here though. Located in the centre of the city, it’s a short walk from Waverley Station, and well serviced by public transport. Princes Street, George Street, St Andrew’s Square, and the West End...
