Sitting right next to the iconic Polidor restaurant – once a haunt for Paul Verlaine, Eugène Ionesco and featured in Woody Allen’s ‘Midnight in Paris’ – this stylish apartment is surrounded by illustrious Parisian history. Though its locale dazzles with shadows of the past, this home’s interior is nothing but contemporary cool. From its black leather sofa and monochromatic palette to its stylish photographic art prints and pared-back decor, this pad mixes modern design with its period French doors, Juliet balconies and wood floors to create a perfect blend of old meets new. We love the separate dining nook that calls for mornings over fresh coffee and croissants and sophisticated evenings over locally bought cheese and wine. The elegant white bedroom, meanwhile, feels perfectly Parisian with its city-inspired wall art and its French doors giving way to yet another set of romantic Juliet balconies. When you’re not sitting pretty in your sleek pad, go out and explore the many sights within easy reach. The beautifully manicured Luxembourg Gardens are a three-minute walk away, the historic Latin Quarter is a seven-minute stroll and the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral is thirteen minutes away on foot.
