This home built on Paxos – the smallest of the seven principal Ionian islands of Greece – is made up of two separate villas allowing for privacy if needed. Each villa has its own private infinity pool that overlooks the stunning Ionian ocean. Spend quiet days lounging in the Greek sun before cooling off in the pool’s waters and swimming to the edge where it meets the ocean to enjoy the painting-like vistas. Olive trees, lemon trees, jasmine plants, and blossoming fuchsia bougainvilleas surround the home proving a serene garden to relax in. Plus, from the bedroom balcony on the upper floor, you can start each morning right, gazing out past the greenery to the turquoise seas. This delightful flora and the soothing ocean water also provide a unique backdrop for dinner time as you fire up the barbecue and cook some delicious souvlaki. Why not dine alfresco too, under the shade of the white bamboo pergola so you can enjoy the views as the sun sets and night-time descends? Beach days are close by to this villa with the beautiful sandy Plake’s beach a short eight-minute walk away. While Gaios Town, the island’s main port, is only a four-minute drive away. Here,... you can visit the statue of Georgios Anemogiannis or see the Tripitos Arch – a naturally formed rock structure that is part of a collapsed sea cave. We suggest seeing Tripitos Arch at sunrise or sunset for the very best views. Plus, if adventures are what you’re looking for, Gaios is also home to the Water Planet Dive Centre for scuba diving excursions to explore what lies beneath the surface of the ocean.
