As well as a swimming pool, the main terrace has a manicured lawn with an ancient olive tree at its centre and dining for the whole group on the shaded patio. The villa’s interior combined contemporary minimalism and Dodecanese tradition with vibrant works of modern art adorning white stone walls. Each piece of furniture feels as though it’s been picked from an interior design magazine, with a Southeast Asian feel to hand-carved wardrobes and lacquered desks. Slate floors keep things cool underfoot and exposed stone archways and fireplaces are a nod to tradition.
