For anyone looking to embrace the unrivalled beauty of the Eternal City, this awe-inspiring penthouse apartment – offering stunning views of the Spanish Steps – is as good as it gets. Revel in the exclusive setting, right next to the historic Antico Caffe Greco – perfect for a cappuccino to kick-start your day. The building dates back to the 1800s, but it's been brought well and truly up to date. It has contemporary decor alongside antiques and original artworks overlooking a vast array of luxurious comforts. Plus, there's the enticing option to add a private butler – 'When in Rome', as the cliched saying goes. To add to the penthouse grandeur is a private wraparound balcony and outdoor terrace, where you're free to relax above the crowds with a glass of wine in hand. Despite its location, you're tucked away from the main tourist thoroughfares, so you can enjoy easy access to the city's main sights and an easy escape when you need a break. At the end of a day of exploring, retire to any of the four stunning bedrooms. The Presidential Suite, with its private seating area and Italian marble en-suite and Jacuzzi bath, is the stand-out. Still, no one... will be left feeling hard done by as all enjoy a direct view overlooking the Piazza di Spagna and Spanish Steps.

About Spagna
Spagna is, perhaps unsurprisingly, focussed around the eponymous Piazza di Spagna. Along with the Trevi fountain, it’s one of the most visited sights in the entire city. Things weren’t always so auspicious – in the 16th century, the area was Rome’s red light district, but today it’s better known for the vine-covered romance of Via Margutta, home to Gregory Peck's impoverished journalist in Roman Holiday. This is not the place...
