For a sun-soaked retreat to the Italian coast, this sparkling villa ticks just about every box. A huge resort-style pool? Check. Idyllic ocean views? Got them. Relaxing chill-out areas both inside and out? You bet. Located in the ancient town of Monopoli, you're a thirteen-minute drive from the centre, with a 16th-century castle, a baroque cathedral and the frescoed Palmieri Palace all to be explored. For fun-filled days out, head to Sabbiadoro Beach or the Tamerici Beach Club, less than twenty minutes away on foot. But that's if you can peel yourself away from the poolside loungers or aqua Acapulcos. With the Adriatic Sea shimmering in the distance and the green foliage whispering in the soft breeze, this one will be hard to leave. Spend lazy afternoons dipping in and out of the pool, soaking up the sun and dining alfresco under the bamboo pergola. We can think of no better place to be with friends and family, enjoying a couple of limoncellos under the gentle shade, surrounded by fruit trees and ornamental plants.
