Buried deep in the rolling hills of Tuscany, with idyllic rural views stretching as far as the eye can see, this villa in Montecatini Val di Cecina is achingly beautiful inside and out. Combining stone walls and wooden beams with modern furnishings and stylish decor, this one offers a unique stay experience with plenty of luxury touches to boot. We particularly love the contemporary modular sofa, artistic lighting and Asian wall art that blends with the handmade wood and antique fireplace to create a well-balanced, zen space to relax after an explorative day driving up and down the winding hillside roads. Cook up a storm in the sleek kitchen, before tucking into a big group meal in the dining room with funky decorative details – like the wooden bookshelves and Asian-influenced objects. But while we adore the interiors, our favourite spot has to be down by the glistening pool. Whether you're enjoying an alfresco lunch on the covered terrace, cooling off with a quick dip in the pool, or enjoying an aperitif under the canopy, you'll be able to admire the incredible green vistas. When you're ready to explore, there's a host of charming hamlets and villages to discover, including Volterra... and Pomarance – both less than thirty minutes' drive away.
