High up in the mountains, this chalet by the famous slopes of Alpe D’Huez is the perfect home from which to lap up the quintessential Alpine adventure. With more than enough space for a large family or group of friends, it offers a sociable affair filled with fresh air and outdoor activities. Inside the chalet, you'll be welcomed by the cosy atmosphere of the open-plan living area centred around a huge open fireplace that will warm your toes in no time. Decked out in exposed timber wood-panelled walls, you'll gain a true Alpine experience just from the moment you arrive. Spend quality time together, debriefing on your time on the slopes (or beautiful hiking routes if you're visiting during the summer) in the comfortable lounge area, before serving up some French classics including the likes of raclette, fondue and charcuterie at the dining area. From the outdoor terrace dining area, soak up the breathtaking views over the towering mountains (which are snow-capped during the winter). After a chilly day on the piste, come back and warm yourselves up with a soak in the jacuzzi bathtub or even better – a session in the sauna. You'll find bathrobes, toiletries and slippers...

This home is managed by Oliver

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.

This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
