This minimalist apartment sits directly across from The National Museum of Scotland and Greyfriars Kirkyard, only a five-minute walk from The Royal Mile and ten from Edinburgh Castle. Old Town is Edinburgh’s historic heart, where twisted cobbled lanes and gothic buildings are around every corner. Whether you're in town on business or here to sightsee, it's an excellent spot to be – pubs, restaurants, landmarks and independent shops are just steps away. Apart from the unbeatable location, this flat ticks all our boxes for a romantic retreat or solo stay. We love the spotless Scandi design, with its simple lines, uncluttered spaces and minimal approach. It feels like a breath of fresh air after a day spent wandering the city, and thanks to the immense sash windows, the living space is filled with light. The views aren't bad, either – opposite is the museum, while the famous Greyfriars Bobby is to the right. Make yourself at home on the soft sofa, sipping scotch and watching your favourite Netflix shows. For dinner, rustle up something in the compact kitchen, then share your fare around the dining table before snuggling up in the plush bed for a restful night's sleep.
