Settle into a celestial stay at this beautiful apartment housed in the apex of a converted church. A vision of ecclesiastical architecture, its towering vaulted ceilings and cosy, contemporary furnishings offer a heavenly setting for a unique London stay. The open-plan living space is the sacred heart of the home, inviting endless lounging on its sofas with the books on the shelves, as well as first and last suppers of the day around its long dining table. The main bedroom is a masterclass in contrast, with cool white interiors juxtaposed against a warm feature wall and the exquisite curves of the church beams meeting the crisp edges of contemporary design. The en-suite roll-top tub here – in particular – is a favourite of ours, beckoning blissful soaks with a glass of bubbly after a busy day of city exploring. The second bedroom – with its wood-framed beds and colourful ornaments – will have any child feeling like they’re in seventh heaven, while the third bedroom – tucked beneath the mezzanine’s beams – offers heavenly wake-ups to the sun pouring in through the large arched windows. Outside of your home, you’ve got plenty to see and do, including Hampstead Heath (a twelve-minute... walk), vibrant Camden Town (ten minutes away by Tube) and countless chic restaurants and cute boutiques to explore right on your front door.

Home truths
Though there's a lift in the building, you'll still need to climb a few stairs to reach the apartment's entrance – there are also internal stairs leading up to the mezzanine level, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility
We think the twin bedroom is better suited to children due to the narrow single beds
There's no door separating the main bedroom from its en-suite bath
The mezzanine bedroom is open to the living room downstairs, so doesn't offer as much privacy
There's a laptop-friendly workspace
You'll receive an in-person check-in
There's no parking here, but we recommend skipping the car and making use of London's excellent public transport instead – Archway station is a seven-minute walk away
You’ll be required to sign a digital rental agreement from the host prior to your stay for security and insurance purposes. Your host will send this to you after your booking is confirmed
The lead guest must be at least 25 years old to rent this home.
